Project Tau

Privacy policy

Effective 19 October 2026

Project Tau writes and adjusts training plans with an AI model. This policy explains what data that involves, where it goes, and how to delete it.

What stays on your phone

Your profile, goal, plan, session logs, check-ins, test results and coach conversation are stored only in the app on your phone. We do not keep a copy on our servers.

What is sent to generate your plan

When the app writes or adjusts your plan, explains an exercise, or answers in the coach chat, it sends the information that request needs to our server, which forwards it to an AI model and returns the answer. That can include:

Our server passes this to OpenRouter, which routes it to Claude, a model made by Anthropic. They process it to produce the response, under their own privacy policies. Our server does not store the content of these requests or responses.

The app asks for your agreement before anything is sent.

What our server keeps

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and time) for a limited period. Our database runs on Neon.

What we don't do

No advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no selling or sharing of data with data brokers, and no account with your name or email.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings and choose Erase all data. That deletes everything on your phone and the install ID and usage counts on our server. Deleting the app also removes the data on your phone.

Health information

Plans are general training guidance, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or physiotherapist about injuries, pain or medical conditions.

Children

Project Tau is not intended for children under 13.
